German Chancellor Scholz has promised to V Selensky during his recent visit to Berlin, to do everything to make sure that never again gas will flow through the Nordstream pipelines.
Scholz, therefore, promised to Selensky that Germany will never again buy Russian cheap gas for its ailing industry, whatever may be the outcome of the conflict in Ukraine, what ever may be the opinion and interest of the US Administration. With his simple promise, Merz buried the German industry’s hopes for again obtaining cheap energy from Russia, energy that was stable until the Western interference in the 2014 Maidan putsch and the massive armament of Ukraine.
