It is really bad news. The Guardian and many news papers worldwide report that also Donald Trump, like his Foreign Secretary Rubio just earlier yesterday, threatens to abandon negotiations for peace in Ukraine if the parties involved will not agree very fast.
Trump said: “Now if for some reason one of the two parties makes it very difficult, we’re just going to say: ‘You’re foolish. You’re fools. You’re horrible people’ – and we’re going to just take a pass. But hopefully we won’t have to do that.”
It is interesting to note that Trump addresses only to “two parties”, most probably meaning Russia and Ukraine.
In view of the now publicly known US peace proposal which realistically takes into consideration the main Russian demands, it may be that Trump addresses in first line to Ukraine … as Ukraine had in the past refused to accept all US and Russian proposals.
Ukraine was doing so with the backup of Europe and the UK. Trump pushing Ukraine to accept a deal means also that Trump is clearly warning Europe and the UK as well.
Hardly Trump can expect that Ukraine will accept the main Russian demands and if the Europeans will not push Ukraine to such acceptance it is most likely that the US will withdraw from the Ukraine war scenario.
It would be a travesty of historic proportions if the initiator country of the conflict in Ukraine, the US, is now unable to stop the war, to stop its proxy, the Kiev regime and to order the conditions of peace. The responsibility for this travesty would be fully with the European heads of state who still push Ukraine to fight, to pressure Russia. Trump did clearly say it: “It’s Biden’s War” and it has to stop. He and his Government made clear that there is no return on further investments into that war and that the US will stop further financing.
If Europe will continue the conflict, the continent is doomed as without US protection, there is no security, no prospering economy. The situation can turn very bad very fast and if European leaders will send own troops to fight Russia, then the continent will suffer enormously with a population absolutely not willing to lose lives for Ukraine. Europe will be facing a profound change, politically and economically. It has been confirmed by politicians and specialists that Europe cannot win a war against Russia without US protection.
