BBC: Abramovich dodged millions in tax with superyachts-for-hire scheme

A yacht is a very expensive hobby. And as Mr. Abramovitch had 5 superyachts, this may have become quite expensive for him as well.
It is difficult to follow the arguments of the BBC that all 5 superyachts were meant for private use only, no, this sounds absurd. No billionaire, no dictator, no royal would buy 5 superyachts for his pleasure only. Therefore, it must be assumed that the purchase of the 5 superyachts was a business investment and it must be reasonably assumed that the operarational expenses were covered in an ordinary business allowing to reclaim VAT.
