Nevertheless, the BBC article tries to open a discussion on how the War could come to a close. Unfortunately, the BBC article does not describe any viable solution.
The BBC cannot leave out their previous hopes of crushing the Russian economy by sanctions, to demotivate and destruct the Russian military or to create social unrest and war refusal in the Russian population. Whereas it seems that BBC admits that nothing like this has happened.
As a summary, the BBC does not outlay a solution. The BBC does also not establish if and how Ukraine may join NATO – in it’s pre-War form or with only the rest of territories remaining – and what it may mean for other NATO members. The BBC also does not elaborate on the statehood, the mere existence of an independent state of Ukraine, covering up the continuous financial needs of such a state just only to function, to provide basic services its citizens. The BBC article does not tell who will pay all this post-War.
As such, this BBC article provides one, evidently correct fact: Ukraine has lost the War. Everything else is missing in this article.
The BBC further elaborates on Donald Trump and his possible ways to act and refers to sources which have been discredited already. Donald Trump has not given a clear direction, only that he intends to stop the War immediately after his appointment as next President of the US. Therefore, the BBC is lost in speculations, but should know that Donald Trump has not a favorable on Ukraine and the War – in particular, after Trump suffered an Impeachment for what was called The UkraineGate – a prolongation of RussiaGate.
