CNN: Trump-Putin summit in Alaska resembles a slow defeat for Ukraine – it’s better than nuclear WWIII, isn’t it?

CNN is up in arms again against Donald Trump: “The conditions around Friday’s summit so wildly favor Moscow, it is obvious why Putin leapt at the chance, after months of fake negotiation, and it is hard to see how a deal emerges from the bilateral that does not eviscerate Ukraine. Kyiv and its European allies have reacted with understandable horror at the early ideas of Trump’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, that Ukraine cede the remainders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions in exchange for a ceasefire.”

But what does CNN want? A nuclear WWIII? A continuation of the war in Ukraine, with endless killing?

CNN must have seen that the sanctions did not work well and that Russia is not starved to death with NATO’s blockade. CNN must have seen that despite all possible efforts the Russian people stand behind their President and his strategy of a limited military operation in Ukraine, avoiding an escalation towards the US and NATO, even though it’s clear even for CNN that NATO is heavily involved in the fighting in Ukraine and responsible for numerous deaths of Russian civilians. And CNN must have understood that the Ukrainian army is at its end and will collapse soon. The collapse will trigger a huge catastrophe for Ukraine and for Europe as masses of Ukrainian soldiers will move to Europe as it will be difficult to live or survive in Ukraine. CNN must have understood that the Ukrainian collapse will be devastating, in particular, for a Europe already suffering under economic crisis and mass immigration.

Donald Trump knows all this, too. He knows that an orderly surrender of Ukraine’s territories and a new agreement on the security cooperation with Russia, paired with economic and energy cooperation can be the only way forward.
