What a scandal, if true. What a massive and unbelievable crime committed, if the accusations of Zelensky are true – even if it is only about 10% or less of the alledged amount Zelensky claims gone missing.
In his interview with Lex Friedman (a US famous podcaster) on 5 January 2025, Zelensky claims that the missing funds have been directed to US players, half of 177 Billions, which makes almost 90 Billions to be stolen, missused and diverted by US players.
If true, this is the biggest scam the World ever has seen. Surpassing the Madoff Scheeme. But who may have really benefitted of this scam – if one follows the arguments of Zelensky: Zelensky, in the podcast interview, accepts that Ukraine is still plagued by corruption – meaning that a certain amount may have been stolen by Ukrainian players. But listening to Zelensky, one may understand that he accuses US players to have taken the vast majority of the missing funds coming to a conclusion that the missing funds have been well shared, in unequal parts, by US and Ukrainian players.
What Zelensky forgot to tell: where he thinks the lost monies and weapons are now, today? In banks in Switzerland, Monaco, Dubai? In the hands of terrorists and dictators in Yemen, Somalia, Middle and Far East, in the Americas?
Zelensky must tell us all he knows, must speak truth and help to recover the missing funds and weapons. Or, if he acts again like a clown (which is was his personal and professional feature for long), he must confess that his claim about the missing billions is untrue. Nevertheless, the incoming US Administration under Donald Trump has another urgent clean-up job to do and must ask Zelensky for confessions and explanation – Zelensky’s accusations are grave and destroy the good faith of and the public trust in Western help for Ukraine – that’s why many mainstream media outlets have only covered Zelensky’s claim marginally or totally forgot to comment it?
