DW: Ukraine’s metals the US, EU and Russia want access to

Ukraine has an enormous wealth of industrial minerals, including titanium, lithium, beryllium, manganese, gallium, uranium, zirconium, graphite, apatite, fluorite and nickel. All these minerals are imortant for new technologies.
Since years, the EU is pushing Ukraine towards privatization. Now the US wants their share for the billions paid to Ukraine in its war with Russia.
The EU considers Ukraine important for the European resources strategy and would welcome therefore Ukraine as a member.
In the competition about Ukrainian minerals Russia seems to be the winner as most of the valuable resources are situated in East Ukraine where Russia advances and gains control of further mines.
A conflict between the EU and US about Ukrainian resources seems very likely and both powers will try to get as much from Ukraine as possible.
What will remain at last for the Ukrainian people after Project Ukraine is finally closes by the US, EU?
