Economist: Ukraine Regime Change in Sight: UK Publishes Polling that General Zaluzhny would beat Zelensky largely in Election … time is up for Selensky
The Economist reported already in 2024 about the power struggles in Ukraine. There are many news reports about internal conflicts and a potential coup against Selensky who is losing internal support and, in particular, is in rising conflict with Donald Trump. The public opinion is also against Selensky, Donald Trump told that in polls Selenaky would get 4%. Now, the Economist reports that Selensky would not win elections if held during wartime. He would lose against General Saluzhny who would get 65% of votes. It is no surprise that the Economist publishes these polls in this very moment. Next week (date not yet sure), PM Starmer and President Macron will visit Trump. The UK and French leaders will present their plan on how to occupy rest-Ukraine with NATO troops and will ask for Trump’s help. It is expected that the UK and French leaders will propose Saluzhny as next President of Ukraine, a strongman, military leader – now in “exile” in London as Ukrainian Ambassador after Selensky dismissed him as leader of the army. Saluzhny was well cultivated in London and is ready to replace Selensky, either through quickly arranged elections or as the white knight after a putsch. But will Trump accept the Biden era now European replacement candidate?
