One day delay. The Russian delegation was waiting yesterday all day for some Ukrainians to arrive to start peace talks.
The delay was due to V Selensky’s public circus. Selensky requested the presence of Vladimir Putin in Istanbul. Why? Except for a public show there was no reason for Putin to come. There was no reason for Donald Trump to come. Putin’s or Trump’s presence was never planned. Selensky did know, but preferred his show, his desperate media diplomacy. Finally, the clownesque resulted in one day of precious time lost and, at least, this diplomatic mistake resulted in discontent of Trump and disgust of Putin.
Nevertheless, the Western media tried to spin it as if it was Putin’s mistake. Failed again.
