Fox: Ceasefire over as Israel strikes Gaza after Hamas refused to release hostages

The horrors of war return to Gaza. According to sources, Israel has resumed striking targets in Gaza, killing hundreds of people.
As the Hamas’ violation of the ceasefire deal is obvious, and Hamas did not liberate hostages, nor returned bodies of hostages, Israel started to attack with ferocity Palestinians in Gaza, killing hundreds as sources say.
The question: is such response proportionate?
As long as Hamas keeps Israeli hostages and is unwilling to return the hostages safely, Israel shall have the absolute right to throw Hamas to its knees. Some hostages still may survive and that will be the victory for Israel. Taking hostages is the ultimate terrorist act and a state shall never be blackmailed because of hostages but react with all its force, in the interest of and for the safety of its population, also if this means that the unfortunate hostages taken by terrorists may not return. Terrorists shall never think they may succeed by taking hostages, Israel has maybe waited too long with its measures. It is difficult to admit that Israel response is disproportionate.
