Fox: Trump says Zelenskyy wants to back out of mineral deal … and Ukraine ‘never be NATO’

Donald Trump, in a recent interview said: “I think Zelenskyy, by the way, he’s trying to back out of the rare earth deal, and if he does that, he’s got some problems – big, big problems,”

In clear words, Trump reacts to the tactics of V Selensky with regards to the agreement on rare earths and minerals which was already a matter of discord between both.

Trump threatens Selensky getting big, big problems if he is not complying.

Selensky and some public speakers in Ukraine condemned the draft agreement to be signed. While the essence of the agreement remains unchanged, the Ukrainian side criticizes the agreement’s details as abusive. Ukraine is also supported by European leaders and newspapers trying to publicly denounce Trump’s initiative. In addition, Selensky does not consider the past US help as a loan, but as a gift. The hundreds of billions that flowed into Ukraine would not need to be reimbursed, Selensky says. Trump expresses a contrary opinion.

Trump also said:  “We made a deal on rare earths, and now he’s saying, ‘well, you know, I want to renegotiate the deal.’ He wants to be a member of NATO. Well, he was never going to be a member of NATO. He understands that, so, if he’s looking to renegotiate the deal, he’s got big problems.”

Trump responds with this statement directly to Selensky who raises then point that the minerals deal does not contain any security guarantees and that, therefore, Ukraine needs to become NATO member.  Trump confirms that Ukraine will never become NATO member.
