The White House has now a social media X account to respond to and correct immediately media articles which contain fakes, are misleading and otherwise harmful.
This is not censorship. Trump continues to allow all media to report as they are able to – but, as we know from CheckpointNews, it is sometimes surprising how intentionally wrongful the media can report, leaving out important facts or simply promoting fake facts or giving a biases opinion etc. so a rapid correction is needed.
