The four gunmen who attacked Crocus City Concert Hall last year in Moscow killing 149 people and injuring many more are facing their judge. As well, those who have logistically and financially helped.
Most plead guilty.
The terror organization IS Islamic State Khorasan claimed responsibility. The four culprits are muslims from Tajikistan but never were members of the IS. They were hired hit men.
The four gunmen were captured on their escape to the Ukrainian border. They confessed that Ukrainians, or persons in Ukraine were their contacts and hired them for money.
Ukraine denied all responsibility for the terror attack, but Russian prosecutors identified the culprits in Ukraine, belonging to Ukrainian government and security organizations. It seems that those identified Ukrainians are started to be executed by Russian Intelligence Services – which is an intolerable crime of illegal revenge …
It is also well known that certain islamist elements are fighting for Ukraine against Russia. On the one hand, these terrorists from Southern Russian republics and bordering countries have found refuge in Ukraine, also for their families. They often belong to the IS. It is also known that islamists residing in Ukraine, those who fight for Ukraine against Russia, have been sent to Europe: eg earlier to Vienna – but Austrian police was able to stop them before they executed their terror attacks planned. These IS terrorists admitted that they were based in Ukraine.
The EU is also alarmed about IS terrorists within Ukrainian forces:
“… The New York Times reported the presence of a Chechen volunteer force made up of ISIS sympathisers in territories disputed by Russian separatists and Ukrainian troops.
It appears that they have openly sided with Ukraine in a bid to weaken Russia and compel it to concentrate its forces on that country, drawing resources away from other fronts on which it is pitted against various Islamic terrorist groups.”
