Israeli Commandos Attacked Iranian Air Defenses With Drones From Inside The Country – a Similar Scenario to Ukraine’s Attack on Russia

News comes in that Israel, in preparing its most recent attack on Iran, was able to place drones deep inside Iran which were activated to hit precisely targets in Iran. Reports explain that these spy operations took some years to complete till their launch yesterday night.

Good question: how was Israel able to set up these various system inside a country that is run as a religious dictatorship and totalitarian police state?

TWZ reports: ” Israel’s Operation Rising Lion, which aims to neuter Iran’s nuclear and long-range weapons capabilities, began with an overnight attack on a wide array of targets. These strikes included the use of drones and missiles launched by operatives from deep within Iran. This is the conclusion of a report from Israeli outlet N12, which cites an unnamed Israeli security source.”

This seems to be a new form of warfare: placing devices inside the enemy’s territory, with the help of intelligence agents, to make them ready for a hit on a target at first demand.

This new, modern warfare is a result of an extra-ordinary technological advance: the unmanned, secret weapons to be guided at the enemy. It is a very dangerous outlook as this seemingly is a cheap strategy, no open battles, no numbers of soldiers involved and dying, just some brave spies to position the deadly engines into the enemy’s sphere. Today, these are drones with conventional bombs targeting single identified targets, tomorrow this can be nuclear devices targeting the whole population.

A first impression of the efficiency of this new warfare was demonstrated by the operation Spiderweb – when Ukraine attacked Russian nuclear bombers with drones positioned inside Russia. The second demonstration of this warfare is now the operation Rising Lion when Israel, as well, targeted Iranian nuclear facilities and homes of generals with drones positioned in Iran. Both acts happened within 2 weeks and it is not excluded that they are somehow related.

But even if such warfare operation is successful for once, there may be hardly a second time as security and intelligence of the enemy will turn over every stone and search every corner for any suspicious device and will conduct investigations with suspected persons or institutions inside their country and increase controls at the borders.

This new warfare is, in particular, very frightening for open, democratic societies, as their control cannot be compared to the one of Iran, North Korea or even of Russia and the risks are even higher that foreign spies act on the free and liberal territories with open borders and uncontrolled immigration and goods transfers.
