It is a short, very decisive statement from the US Vice-President JD Vance.
It sound like an instruction to Kiev and to European allies. Stop the war, stop the fighting and killing. It’s for nothing, the war is lost.
The same kind of statements are made by President Trump.
The media, in particular, in France and UK, dispute JD Vance’s view: there are many articles in the press which show hope and motivation on the side of Ukrainian soldiers, and as many articles and reports that inform about the very bad state of the Russian army.
European politicians demand that a peace must be “just” and not a “surrender”, as they call for Ukraine’s continued fight.
And finally, President Macron demands to increase pressure on Russia – not specifying by which means – but it is Macron’s clear demand to continue the war and even to try to escalate it.
It is absurd: the former proxy master of Ukraine, the US, demands the immediate stop of the proxy war, and the proxy itself is trying to get on board a new proxy master, Europe and the UK … both willing to continue to send money and weapons and all kinds of support enabling the proxy to resist and even attack Russia. … With terrible human losses.
