Kellogg: “It’s a proxy War”

“To be honest – it’s a proxy war”.

Keith Kellogg, US special envoy for Ukrane said this on FoxNews.

The US Administration continues to describe the conflict in Ukraine as proxy war, as a war where the Ukrainian people do fight for and on behalf of the US. It goes along with US Senator Lindsey Graham’s statement that the Ukrainian war “is US’ best deal ever – no US citizen is dying in Ukraine”.

The declarations can be dangerous as the tide turns. The proxy may have questions which the master will have to answer. This is, in particular, the dilemma of Europe: what will happen to Europe when Ukraine collapses and hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian front soldiers will join their families in Europe? An apocalyptic scenario.

The war in Ukraine needs to end now. The proxy’s masters have to accept that their is no future on the battlefield and that the risk is not Russia or any theoretical aggression on Western Europe, but the real riskbis Ukraine as a failed state and the further millions of refugees coming to Europe.
