Kiev Independent: Zelensky imposes sanctions against ex-President Poroshenko

Signs of political unrest in Kiev. Zelensky ordered measures against his political adversary, former President Poroshenko.
This is a sign of growing internal political fights between the Ukrainian elites, mainly those which represent Zelensky’s Ukrainian nationalist movements (Russia calls them Nazis) and Poroshenko’s Party of the Regions (formerly also integrating Russian speaking an orthodox voters and therefore banned since 2023).
As the war is lost and Project Ukraine is terminated, the Ukrainian elites are fighting each other. Protests in the Ukrainian parliament erupted yesterday. The state seems becoming dysfunctional, citizen rights and safety are in danger, the army sees more and more desertion and Selensky needs to prepare for his fight for his political and physical survival. Poroshenko is not the only angry man in Ukraine: there is a growing angry opposition in and outside Ukraine.
