Kremlin and Trump aides raise nuclear war fears after Ukraine drone strikes on Russia’s nuclear force – the happy games of teasing the Russian Bear are over
The happy, stupid game is over. Teasing Russia, extending NATO, arming and feeding Ukraine with intelligence and satellite data to hit on Russia must end now. This kind of Russian Roulette, started by Obama/Biden hypothetical strategists and joined by Macron/Starmer casino addicts has found itself in the position just before the lethal bullet is to be shot into the gamer’s brain.
The Guardian writes: “As Vladimir Putin pledges to retaliate against Ukraine for last weekend’s unprecendented drone attack, the Kremlin advisers and figures around Donald Trump have told the US president that the risk of a nuclear confrontation is growing, in an attempt to pressure him to further reduce US support for Ukraine.”
The attack on Russia’s nuclear deterrence force was one step too much. Of course, such attack could only be made with Western help. But who did help Ukraine? Trump and Putin may know it, the question is if both agree to expose the culprit. It is still possible that rogue US and other Western elements are involved to prop up Ukraine to run sophisticated attacks on Russia’s nuclear force. Russia may have the right and the duty, under International Law to act against such attacks and to retaliate in full. The Trump Administration seems to understand that the US is in high danger, as well as other allied countries or elements that have been involved in the latest attacks.
Trump does not oppose to Putin’s warning to retaliate against those who attacked the Russian nuclear force, who send drones from inside Russia on Russia’s strategic nuclear bombers.
Trump now has only one option, to step back from Ukraine, to stop support and to let Russia do what Putin thinks is necessary. The Start II Agreement may be sufficient basis to allow Russia to demand from the US full cooperation and the US agreement for Russia’s retaliation, otherwise the Start II Agreement, this US-Russia Agreement on nuclear arms control and prevention of nuclear conflicts will lose it’s raison d’etre. Trump certainly does not want to be accused by Russia as co-conspirator in attacking Russia’s nuclear force.
Ukraine and whoever helped them the last few days have destroyed Ukraine’s hopes for an advantageous peace. Ukraine is doomed and will not further exist, unless very quickly, Russian demands will be accepted in full, by the US and the Europeans. That’s now Russia’s demand and target and Trump knows that it is somehow legitimate.
