LeMonde: Ukraine says that largest Drone Attack ever on Moscow shall force Russia to accept Aerial Ceasefire

Ukraine, last night, launched the largest drone attack on Moscow ever. All drones were shot down. At the same time, some border towns have been attacked. One death in Moscow from debris, 3 death in the border region. Small damages at buildings reported, mainly from debris.
Ukraine confirms that its intention was to force Russia to accept an aerial ceasefire, as already proposed few days ago by President Macron of France.
The ineffectiveness of Kiev’s air attack might not move Russia to accept a partial ceasefire. Russia already before refused to accept a partial ceasefire, claiming that it would only prolong unnecessarily the time till Ukraine’s collapse.
Such large attacks may only lead to much larger retaliation, to more death, destruction and suffering and are mainly designed to disturb the peace talks between the US and Russia.
