NBC: House Republicans announce new subcommittee to investigate Jan. 6

House Speaker Mike Johnson rapidly announced the creation of a new subcommittee regarding all the events of Jan 6 (the “Attack on the Capitol”).

Many controversies appeared, in particular after footage and testimonies contradicted the Dem run prior Jan 6 committee.

The rather most controversial event was Biden’s presidential pardon for those members of the prior Dem run Jan 6 committee. Such a pardon is not only an instrument to forgive a crime, but also a great obstacle for an investigation into such crime. What may have been the crime and what shall not be investigated?
