NewsMC: MONACO SUPREME COURT DECLARES INCOMPETENCE IN CLAUDE PALMERO’S DISMISSAL CASE, LAWSUIT TO MOVE TO STRASBOURG

News from a scandal:

Monaco’s highest court declared being incompetent to review a case brought forward against the Prince of Monaco by one of his employees.

Claude Palmero, treasurer in 2nd generation of the Prince, was dismissed without notice or compensation.

Palmero tried over the years to get heard be Monaco’s courts, claiming compensation for unfair dismissal. The courts seemingly did not want to take a view on a dispute between the Prince and his employee, finaly declaring themselves incompetent, as what can be read in the local news.

The case is now moved to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

Over the years of conflict with his former employer, Palmero provided the public with some insights into the Palace’s life which produced divers scandals, in addition to some further financial and corruption scandals rocking the tiny Principality and its Palace.
