Newsweek reports that “Pakistan warned India on Thursday that it was committing an “act of war” by suspending a landmark water-sharing treaty in response to a deadly terror attack in Indian-controlled Kashmir.”
After the recent terror attack on tourists in Kashmir, India has reduced and canceled agreements with its neighbour Pakistan. All Pakistani must leave India.
The water-sharing agreement between both countries is vital to Pakistan, hence the threat of war as India is about to block the water.
Pakistan declared not being involved in the massacre, while the Indian army still is hunting the identified perpetrators.
Both countries have nuclear weapons and have been in wars for many years. The massacre disturbs the peace and is a risk to provoke a major, even nuclear confrontation.
