Politico is a powerful tool, for politicians as well as for businesses. Politico, according to FT, receives half or more income from the lobbying industry. They get paid by politicians, business men … and the US Government. For what? When POLITICO receives lots of money from lobyists POLITICO has to deliver … postive reports about the “client” or negative reports about the client’s adversary. In 2024, POLITICO received over USD 8 million from the Biden Admimistration. POLITICO reported only.negatively about Trump, while only or mostly in positive ways about Biden/Harris. Do you really believe that there is no relationship between the reporting and the payment? Note, the US Government paid directly into POLITICO “Pro” which is the lobbying program of POLITICO, i.e. it is the program for “pay for play” at POLITICO (cf FT).
The NYT tries to defend POLITICO: but they dishonestly cover up the real facts. Will NYT be screened for “pay for play” as well?
