Putin said United Arab Emirates could be “suitable” location for meeting with Trump

CNN reports that “a meeting between Donald Trump and Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin could take place as early as next week, a top Kremlin aide said Thursday, as the US president’s deadline for Moscow to show progress in ending its war in Ukraine looms.”

Putin himself mentioned the United Arab Emirates as suitable meeting place. An answer from Washington is expected.

CNN still is prisoner of its own and Biden’s propaganda: CNN has to admit finally that the US is fighting a proxy war in Ukraine with Russia. It is a war about NATO’s eastward expansion and threats to Russia’s security by using or misusing Ukraine. Donald Trump wants to end this proxy war but he got under enormous US internal and European pressure not to abandon Project Ukraine. Trump wants to get out of this proxy war which can only escalate as Russia is winning. Trump hopes for a helping hand from Moscow but he knows that Russia has strict conditions. Russia wants to avoid subsequent similar Projects Ukraine forever.

It is up to Trump to fend off US and European pressure on a peace deal which can only be unfavorable for Ukraine and the Europeans. Putin may have to accept a compromise and reduce his maximum demands. Such outcome may allow a peace deal which must be accepted by all parties.

In view of the recent serious nuclear escalation, the World can only hope for a strong agreement to be found by Trump and Putin and that nobody and nothing will disturb their negotiations.
