With interesting comments, RealClearWorld explains the leaked peace proposal of Donald Trump re Ukraine.
V Selensky will not accept this proposal but will face a suspension of military support by Trump (in addition to the suspension of the civil aid ordered by Trump last week).
As it became clear from earlier remarks, Russia has no interest to negotiate about Ukraine. Russia never wants a Project Ukraine at its doorstep again and will insist on a global solution, a European or global security settlement.
And Trump has not much in hands to force Russia to a compromise, as he will never involve the US directly in the war against Russia.
