“Retired” US army pilots fly F16 in Ukraine – does Trump know?

The matter was initiated in 2024 under the Biden Administration: US army pilots who left service for flying F16s in Ukraine. F16s have been supplied by the US and some other countries, but besides some specially trained Ukrainian pilots, they are operated by former US army pilots.

Of course, it is hard to establish to what extent such former US army pilot is, in fact, “former”.

Russia did not raise this question yet and did not accuse the US to be a direct war party, as Russia keeps total control over the skies over Ukraine and would not consider the F16 as a real danger, in particular, as they are not equipped with long range missiles. They hardly fly for the risk of being shot down. As well, Ukrainian pilots would easily crash the F16s as it happened already.
