Hungary has vetoed the EU’s new €30 billion military aid package for Kiev. The EU does not have the financial capacity to continue aiding Ukraine, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban warned. Orban, in view of the US’ withdrawal of civil and military aid to Ukraine, requests his European counterparts to follow the US and work for a swift peace in Ukraine, stopping urgently the war and keeping financial and human costs and losses down. Orban is the only EU leader to ask for a fast peace in the US sense.
