Reuters: Trump allies pressure Selensky to change course or resign

Mike Waltz, National Security Adviser of President Trump and Mike Johnson, Republican Speaker of the House both demand the resignation of V Selensky or a change of course. Selensky shall step aside for a new Ukrainian leader who can make peace.
These are two US political heavyweights, the Speaker of the House is the important representative of the parliament of the US on the one side and on the other side the most important US official for national security.
Both understand perfectly the danger which represents Selensky for the US. The replacement of Selensky will help to find a rapid ceasefire and is a good chance for lasting peace with Russia.
Selensky has become a security risk for the US pressuring the US to commit to give Ukraine security guarantees which are uncontrollable for the US. Selensky himself will be in a position to draw the US into a direct military conflict whenever he decides tobprovoke a Russian retaliation. This is a basis for blackmailing the US – a reason why even the Biden Administration did not want to be directly in conflict with Russia.
Senator Lindsey Graham, a friend of Selensky and staunch supporter of Selensky and Ukraine has homself also asked for Selensky’s resignation.
The US Republican leadership appears united behind Trump who has denied Selensky further talks and told him “you make the deal, or we are out”.
