RussiaGate’s ground-zero Joseph Mifsud was paid by the EU. Mifsud was running a project in Sicily “Archeomed” (2011-2012) and received ca. USD 1 million. Most of the money was funneled to a company run by the later Italian Minster of Defense, Elisabeta Trenta. The company, SudgestAid, a private defense/mercenary provider, belonged to her boss, Vincenzo Scotti who was also partner/boss in a group of Italian private intel companies where Mifsud was also involved. Where the EU money finally ended is unknown, but it was claimed that it was destined for disarming militias in Libya and never arrived there … a non-payment with terrible consequences.
