President Putin today was for the first time in the embattled region of Kursk, where the Ukrainian army made an incursion and built up a strong defense force. Putin made this visit as the Ukrainian rest troops are encircled and delivered to Russia. It is a terrible defeat for Ukraine, in the military perspective and for its propaganda efforts. Putin declared the Ukrainian fighters as terrorists according to the Russian law. Many surrendered and horrible numbers are dead. It was a grave mistake of the Ukrainian leadership to keep thousands of soldiers in Kursk, it was a mistake to invade the Kurak area – at terrible costs of lives and material. Putin arrived today in military camouflage. This is a bad sign for Ukraine and its proxy masters, as Putin signals military determination, not only to terminate the Kursk matter, but also to push for reaching all his war targets. A ceasefire deal, with these signals from the Russian side, will be difficult to reach, unless the US might accept stringent Russian conditions.
