Billionaires are more and more involved in the US democratic election process, sponsoring candidates and their campaigns. Wisconsin’s top judge was for election and Mr Soros and Mr Musk delivered a spending battle, Soros for a leftist Democrat, Musk for a conservative Trump-aligned Republican.
The election in Wisconsin was important as the local Judges’ decisions can have an important impact, not only on this Swing-State but on the Federal Politics and even on presidential elections.
Very obvious: the mainstream media, the total of the European media, the NYT, CNN etc keep it silent that Wisconsin was a battleground between Soros and Musk, two billionaires highly engaged in politics. Soros is engaged since decades and a loyal supporter of the US Democrats and the European left. Soros spends hundreds of millions a year, since a very long time, pays news, sets up think tanks, collaborates with ministers and heads of states and, in particular, with the US Democrats and the Obama/Biden establishment.
Musk is the new kid on the block and is immediately a target of the Democrat, leftist and anti-Trump media … that media does not say a word about Soros decades long political financing. This time in Wisconsin, Soros did win, with a slightest majority and his liberal candidate can reign over highly conflicting political positions. His win was a result of a current mood in the Wisconsin population coming from the deep changes Trump is realizing on Federal level. This mood is most probably not for long the same.
It is really bad for politics that billionaires try to buy elections. But it must be noted that it was a long tradition in the US and that Soros was its Champion, helping the Democrats to astonishing wins. Musk needs to get some experience in that election financing business to eradicate the Democrats’ money advantages.
