The Guardian: More than 3m UK families to lose out from benefits cuts … Stop paying Ukraine and keep the NoDoms: UK’s poorest wouldn’t lose.

It is bad news. Benefits will be further slashed by the Labor Government and 3 million people will receive thousands of pounds less, in average.

The UK committed to annually pay GBP 3 billion to Ukraine. The defense budget in view of the Ukraine conflict will be increased by billions. As well, the UK abolished the NoDom status resulting in GBP 1 billion less tax revenues and negative consequences for the UK economy.

Political and ideological decisions result in costs. These decisions, in difficult financial times, are to be supported by the poorest of the Nation. The UK may be fairer, but becomes poorer. This is an observation from an outsider.
