The Guardian: Reeves accused of balancing books on back of UK’s poorest … Labour’s ideological and Ukraine policies are as well on the back of the poor

The simple fact that the Government has no money cannot be on the back of the poorest. Yes, it’s shameful.

As much shameful are wrong policies which cost the budget enormously, such as the abolition of the NonDom status and the hugest payments to Ukraine and the war planning to send troops to Ukraine. Indeed, the deployment of troops to Ukraine will cost billions and bust the budget.

The Labour government should be thinking on how to stop the exodus and associated loss of taxes of the NonDoms, wealthy foreigners whose preferential tax status has been abolished for ideological reasons. As well, the Labour government shall make peace in Ukraine, yes, at any lowest possible cost. The whole country and its poorest will be thankful.
