The Guardian: Zelenskyy: no security guarantee agreed with the US and mineral deal depends on Trump … in a turn-around before landing in Wasgington

The Guardian reports: “Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said no security guarantee with the US has been agreed and described the deal between the two countries as a ‘framework’.

Speaking at a press conference earlier today, the Ukrainian president also said the success of an initial minerals agreement with the US will depend on President Trump.”

If this kind of statement will not rather let Selensky stand in front of closed doors when he comes to visit Donald Trump? In an earlier statement, Trump expressed his view that the deal is done.
Now Selensky calls it a framework, sounding like a declaration of intend, with no details and not binding. And how can the success of the Agreement depend on Trump? An agreement is a two-sided engagement, both side have to deliver in good faith. The good faith of Selensky is still missing as show his contradictory statements. Can he fulfill the Agreement, or does he know it is not possible because the value mines and deposits are gone missing?
