Trump blasts Macron over ‘false’ Israel-Iran ceasefire claim: Stay Tuned!’ – as Trump leaves G7 earlier for Washington

Donald Trump was seemingly angry about a statement of President Macron of France:

Donald Trump had to react to a false claim Macron made. It seems that it became Macron’s habit to publicly distribute the politics of Donald Trump.

Trump wrote on Truth: “Publicity seeking President Emmanuel Macron, of France, mistakenly said that I left the G7 Summit, in Canada, to go back to D.C. to work on a ‘cease fire’ between Israel and Iran. Wrong! He has no idea why I am now on my way to Washington, but it certainly has nothing to do with a Cease Fire. Much bigger than that. Whether purposely or not, Emmanuel always gets it wrong. Stay Tuned!”.

This was one of the most direct and destroying verbal attack of a US President against a French President – Macron should not take it easily.

The context is extremely sensible. The Israel-Iran War is in full escalation and the US is exposes which large assets in the region.

Like Macron, some media are speculating about a last minute diplomatic initiative, a possibility which also Trump has put forward on his Truth Social site. A successful outcome of those negotiations will mean a submission of Iran to Israeli and US demands.
