Trump: “It’s Biden’s war, not mine” – Ukrainskaya Pravda, NY Post

In a Truth Social message, today, Monday 14 April 2025, Donald Trump explained:

“The War between Russia and Ukraine is Biden’s war, not mine. I just got here, and for four years during my term, had no problem in preventing it from happening. …. I had nothing to do with this war, but am working diligently to get death and destruction to stop.”

This statement of Donald Trump is clear. He blames his predecessor Joe Biden for the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.

This war in Ukraine will be remembered in history as “Biden’s War”.

“It’s Biden’s War.”

And Trump further explains that the war must end urgently – and it is clearly understood that Trump does not care about strategic interests of the EU or the UK. Trump seems not to care about the future of Ukraine as well, while his team publicly discusses the partitioning of Ukraine between the West and Russia.

In his Truth Social message on Monday, Trump blamed as well V Selensky for “allowing this travesty to begin,” claiming “there were so many ways of preventing it from ever starting,” in clear words, Trump not only blames Biden but also Selensky for the war, both were in power and acting together with regard to the provocation that made Russia react and invade with a small contingent in 2022. And both were in power before, when Ukrainian artillery shelled and killed tens of thousands of the Russian population in the Donbass.

Russia never had an intention to occupy Ukraine, neither in 2014 nor 2022. Russia needed to protect the Russian population in East Ukraine and Donbass and finally Russia needed to protect its security interests, including Crimea. Biden wanted the war, went full steam on provocation and made the Obama/Biden partners in Europe to act under his command. When speaking about Biden, it’s not only that old and senile man but a team of ideologist Democrats, neocons and industrial war mongers in the US and Europe behind him, using him and Ukraine for their Project Ukraine, their provocative NATO eastward expansion. And Biden’s family also made huge money from Ukraine. And the Obama/Biden gang launched RussiaGate and UkraineGate against Trump, a political war, a coup against a President who wanted peace and not war in Ukraine. That’s what Trump said with his short slogan “it’s Biden’s War”.

European and British politicians need to be very careful not to take over Biden’s War, not to step into and continue the shameful, provocative and doomed Project Ukraine. Trump may easily turn the slogan into “it’s Macron’s War” or “it’s Starmer’s War”.

For the moment “it’s Biden’s War”. Let’s keep it Biden’s and terminate Biden’s War urgently and just leave aside those European demands and objections to peace. And let Trump just terminate that corrupt regime and Selensky in Ukraine who want war to keep on hoping for their physical survival. And let Trump make clear to the European leaders that their opposition to peace, their provocation of Russia will not secure their political survival.
