Trump repeats: “It is not my war. We shouldn’t have been involved in Ukraine.”

As per news reports President Trump repeatedly said yesterday:” This is not my war. This is not war. I mean, we got ourselves entangled in something that we shouldn’t have been involved in. I do have a certain line, but I don’t want to say what it is, because I think it makes the negotiation even more difficult than it is.”

President Trump and his Administration always pointed to the predecessors for the responsibility of the war. They called it ‘proxy war’, ‘Biden’s War’ and they are right as the Project Ukraine was developed and executed under Obama/Biden.

Donald Trump has to get the US out of the Ukraine war, terminate Project Ukraine and normalize relations with Russia. Of course, this will be followed by discussions who will shoulder the burden and the costs of post-war Ukraine, which is as much a real security risk as Russia is declared a hypothetical. Ukraine will cost endlessly, it is a failed state without resources, industries and with a collapsed economy, and with a population in a mainly European diaspora, and with elites with billions in banks in Switzerland, Dubai or Monaco. The country was robbed, the war was profitable for the elites but the population suffered, was sacrificed for the elites’ corrupt interests and for some Obama/Biden and allied politicians’ geostrategic games.
