The Guardian comments Donald Trump’s new Truth Social post:
“Trump posted the remarks on Sunday night, hours before he was due to meet European leaders including Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron, Friedrich Merz, and Zelenskyy at the Oval Office in a bid to counter a reportedly US-backed plan that would see Ukraine give up territory.”
This is the full blame on Selensky and those who support him:
“Zelenskyy of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight,” Trump posted. “No getting back Obama given Crimea (12 years ago, without a shot being fired!), and no going into Nato by Ukraine. Some things never change!!!”
Trump blames Selensky, and of course those Europeans who push and support him, for the killings and destruction in Ukraine, for the continuation of the war, for the danger of escalation.
Selensky can make peace if he wants, Trump makes understand the World and points to the responsible person for the desaster of today’s Ukraine, a country abused by its totally corrupt elite and leadership, a population killed for money and an outdated nationalist propaganda, a country that became a game ball for geopolitical strategic dreamers and corrupting Western officials, in the Obama/Biden Administrations and in the capitals of Europe. Project Ukraine has failed, Biden’s war must now be terminated.
Rest-Ukraine will need security, yes. It will first of all need protection against a new Project Ukraine. So does Russia. The new peace agreement will need to adress these basic demands.
Donald Trump expects the European heads of states, of NATO and EU to arrive with their proxy Selensky. Trump, in another Truth Social message wrote:
“The Fake News will say that it is a big loss for President Trump to host so many great European Leaders at our beautiful White House. Actually, it is a great honor for America!!! President DJT”
Trump seemingly predicts the false and destructive comments of those media outlets that are usually anti-Trump. Trump expects these media types to amplify the criticism and fears of his today’s European visitors.
Trump is battling for peace against a childish and murderous assembly of overtaken political activists and propagandists that do not want to accept that their activism leads to war and desaster. They are no sleepwalkers as there were before WWI, they are a Willing Coalition moving intentionally forward to WWIII. Trump can and must stop them.
