Trump Steps Back From Ukraine Peace Process – Bloomberg

It is not a correct headline of Bloomberg.

It must read:” Trump wants to stop the war and abandons Project Ukraine”.

And Donald Trump wants, needs peace with Russia. He is, as Blomberg seems to understand, completely fed up with this conflict which was provoked by the Obama/Biden Administrations and as well supported by some European leaders (Biden’s War, a proxy war).  The war in Ukraine dates back to 2014 when the US and European powers launched the Maidan Coup in Kiev to prevent Ukraine staying in the Russian orbit as voted democratically by Ukraine’s people’s majority just before (the election of Yanukovich was never contested).

Bloomberg summarizes: “The manner in which Trump extricated himself was telling. He started off in a Truth Social message by saying how well the phone call with Putin had gone. As he went on, it became clearer that he may be leaving Ukraine to it.”

And Trump will leave the Europeans to it, as well, as they have obstructed his peace efforts since his electiony, remembering that Biden send a last big amount of money and weapons to Ukraine during his last days as President, in January 2025, and that the EU and some European countries took over the provision of money and weapons to try to assure that Ukraine holds strong as long as possible.

Now, today, those Europeans who want the war to continue, with the helpbof their national media, complain that they have to shoulder the burden themselves, while pressuring Trump to get in line, to increase sanctions and continue the war efforts.

Trump said no … and yes, he will leave the negotiations to Ukraine and Russia. Saying So does not mean doing so and it is expected that Trump will continue to ne involved. He is known to change mind but still he made up his mind about Ukraine … and in particular, about V Selensky. But is known that the US still provides war support and intelligence to Ukraine, so even if it is not billions of dollars, the US provides some aid against Russia.
