Former UK Prime Minster Boris Johnson complains about the Peace Deal which Donald Trump is suggesting to Russia.
It may be necessary to put things right: As per Donald Trump, the war in Ukraine is “Biden’s War”. It was and is impossible to win it against Russia – Biden knew it from the beginning, but still gambled. Boris Johnson, when still in office, knew it but supported Biden’s gamble and motivated Ukraine not to sign the Istanbul agreements which would have stopped the war immediately, saving millions of lives and huge destruction. In addition, NATO estimated a 50% risk of a nuclear escalation … but luckily they did not gamble with this one.
Ruthlessly, Ukraine was played like a roulette chip. Russian Roulette with the gun at the head.
For the moment, Ukraine does get “nothing” but also not the bullet. Trump’s Peace Deal will give Ukraine’s existence a chance. If the Ukrainian leadership dosn’t take this opportunity, the Ukrainian nation will be at risk. That’s Trump’s message “take it or leave it” or have some more devastating war without the US.
How can Ukraine’s leadership refuse to accept Trump’s deal in view of the men, women and children dying every day. Ukraine gambled high (yes, the Ukrainian leaders were induced to it by Biden&Johnson) and with Trump’s Deal they can, at least and hopefully, limit their losses.
The sudden opposition of Johnson to Trump surprises. He may remember that it was Trump who supported and worked for Johnson to become UK’s Prime Minister and that they were once allies (during the bumpy 1st term of Trump).
