The Guardian reports:” The UK supreme court has ruled that the terms “woman” and “sex” in the Equality Act refer to a biological woman and biological sex, in a victory for gender-critical campaigners.
Five judges from the UK supreme court ruled unanimously that the legal definition of a woman in the Equality Act 2010 did not include transgender women who hold gender recognition certificates (GRCs).”
The decision was given to a case brought forward in front of UK’s supreme court to review if a man with a certificate can legally be recognized as a women. The Law, according to the decision, respects and follows natural fundamentals which a certificate is not.
