US strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites only set back program by months, leaked Pentagon report says – White House rejects report

According to various news, a report produced by the Defense Intelligence Agency DIA – the intelligence arm of the Pentagon – concluded key components of the nuclear program, including centrifuges, were capable of being restarted within months and have not been completely destroyed.

The White House opposed this analysis but also criticized that a secret report has been leaked, in particular, an early report that is not based on a thorough intelligence assessment.

The ever Trump critical The Guardian writes: “The findings by the DIA, which were based on a preliminary battle damage assessment conducted by US Central Command, which oversees US military operations in the Middle East, suggests Trump’s declaration about the sites being “obliterated” may have been overstated.”

It is probably too early to criticize Trump. This is a developing story.
