In an interview, the Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban said: “The Ukrainians have lost the war. Russia has won this war,” adding that the only question is when and under what circumstances the West, which supports the Ukrainians, will acknowledge that this has happened and what will follow from it”.
Orban further said “that the Ukrainians are in a very difficult situation, especially the Ukrainian president, who is not even in control of his own affairs, as Ukraine is only not capitulating because the Europeans and, to a lesser extent, the Americans are supplying it with weapons and money.”
Orban further said “that the Hungarian government has always said that Europe, European institutions, or the French and Germans should negotiate with the Russians.”
“Europe could have kept its future in its own hands if we Europeans had negotiated with the Russians about the future of Europe, but now the Russians are negotiating with the Americans on a number of issues, including the future of Europe, but we are not negotiating.”
Orban is criticizing European leaders, the EU for blindly pushing the war in Ukraine and only going for the defeat of Russia. Such defeat was unrealistic since the beginning, even Russia was retreating and taking hard hits. But how can a nuclear country and its regime be defeated? Sanctions did play well but insufficiently and Russians could not be devided over a historic struggle over Ukraine which started in the Middle Ages and found its previous hight in WWII against Nazi-Germany and its Ukrainian proxies.
Now, Europe hysterically is trying to influence the US-Russian negotiations and V Selensky has never been more active in trying to hinder peace. It is expected that the Kiev regime will trigger some dirty scenarios to deviate the negotiation process. The World and the media are prepared for Kiev’s planned dirty crimes.
Orban further said “that the EU statement commenting the US-Russian negotiations contained a sentence about Ukraine’s membership in the European Union, even though the Hungarian people had already decided that “Ukraine will not become a member of the European Union,” so he would not sign any declarations to the contrary, he said.”
Indeed, rest-Ukraine, under whatever regime, will not be ready to join the EU for long. As well, the EU membership will also depend on Moscow’s agreement. EU’s plans to sell a victory impression may not work. And who will be ready to pay the survival of rest-Ukraine, a failed, misused and destroyed state on the edge of Europe?
