Welt: Coalition Scandal Germany: SPD now demands illegal Migrants to stay and integrate. Hundreds of Thousands of Migrants obliged to leave shall stay indefinitely, says SPD contrary to promises to voters.
In a turn-around, the SPD in coalition negotiations with the CDU demands that all migrants that have no right to remain in Germany, shall stay and integrate. The SPD says that deportation is not suitable. This concerns actually several hundred thousand persons and the number risks to increase as the SPD demands that Germany shall not refuse entry to asylum seekers entering from another European country. These demands, if accepted by Candidate Merz, will mean that nothing will change in regards to the immigration policy of open doors, contrary to what Merz promised to his voters before elections. Isn’t it the moment that Merz needs to find another coalition partner? Or will Merz need to govern with changing majorities when it comes to for the CDU important matters?
