The new German coalition of CDU and SPD stands and can take over the power in Berlin.
The CDU had to make compromises. One important matter for the CDU and Candidate Merz’ election promise was the reversal of the immigration policy. On paper, so the ZDF, the new policy is enacted. In reality, the migration reversal is full of defficiencies and the SPD seems having achieved a great deal of its open immigration, open border ideology.
Ukrainian refugees will not further receive the Bürgergeld, Germany’s minimum living expenses for Germans. It was not said what and how much Ukrainians will receive.
But what is it why the German SPD supports so much immigration? Why did the SPD not change its immigration policy in view of their worsening election results? The SPD, the old German workers’ party is looking for another clientele: the immigrants. But why?
The SPD wants that asylum seekers who have no right to remain in Germany shall be allowed to stay if they well integrate. This may open the door to a limitless immigration under the asylum notion which then may lose all significance. Anybody could claim asylum and stay – even from countries that are considered secure.
