Several news outlets report about the denial of V Selensky to accept that the US help provided in the conflict with Russia shall be considered as a loan. No, Selensky says it was all for free and that Ukraine received hundreds of billions as a gift.
This refusal has and will enrage President Trump who also mentioned that all help from Europe was structured like a loan.
Further on, Selensky refuses to sign a resources deal with the US which was suggested by the US Administration to secure Ukrainian mineral deposits as guarantee for the payments the US made and will make to Ukraine. No, Selensky refuses to sign a deal which he calls abusive and which also is highly disputed in Ukraine, as well by his European backers who launched a massive campaign against the resources deal.
Donald Trump may become again angry with Selensky, as before. Ukraine and Selensky were proxies of the US Biden Administration in the conflict with Russia. Now, as Trump wants to stop that proxy war, the proxy himself is acting against Trumps instructions and tries to ally himself with some European leaders. Europe in turn promises continuous war support against Russia.
As a result, the former proxy Ukraine and the European allies of the US are turning against the US. It is hardly understandable what may ne the advantage for Europe confronting the US. Is Europe willing and prepared to go to war with Russia? Is Europe gambling on a sooner change in the US Administration? As it was heard from some European governments, the term of Trump is “only” 4 years. Have these people forgotten what catastrophy, war and ideological nightmare the 4 year term of Biden has brought us?
