Yermak’s unrealistic Conditions for Peace – Published by The Guardian just when he sits down with Rubio. Yermak demands “don’t let Russia off the hook”
The Guardian now became completely the mouthpiece of the Ukrainian regime and publishes Andrei Yermak’s conditions for peace just the minute when he sits down with the US delegation. Yermak’s conditions (but not all) are as follows: 1. Security Guarantees 2. Strengthen and Increase Sanctions against Russia 3. Europe to seize Russian state assets Yermak seems not to listen to the US requirements. His public statement written for The Guardian and published just now is proof of his unwillingness to enter serious peace negotiations. His and Selensky’s call for security guarantees by NATO or European nations will hammer on the chances to find an agreement with Russia. His demand to increase sanctions, and not to reduce them following a peace agreement will make it less likely that Russia will accept such terms. And finally, the seizure of Russian state assets, disputed in its legality, will further call off Russia’s interest in a settlement. If Yermak really arrives with these demands (and others similar) to meet Marco Rubio, unwilling to be ready for a compromise, this current meeting in Jeddah will be terminated after a short moment.
